Sylvester Stallone turned a stalled acting career into Hollywood legend by writing "Rocky" himself and refusing to sell the script unless he could star in it — betting everything on his own story of an underdog fighting for a shot, and winning big when the film became a Best Picture-winning phenomenon in 1976. Thus inspiring the concept SELF-MADE.
